The short version: your content is yours, the trial is genuinely free, you can cancel any time, and we'll deal with you fairly.
By creating a Scribedeck account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are setting Scribedeck up on behalf of a church or organization, you confirm you are allowed to agree on its behalf.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your workspace. Anyone with your workspace's invite code can join it and see your songs, decks, and orders of service — reset the code from your dashboard if it gets out. Workspace admins can remove members at any time.
Use Scribedeck for your church's presentations. Don't use it to break the law, upload material you don't have the right to use, attempt to access other churches' workspaces, disrupt the service for others, or resell Scribedeck as your own product.
You keep ownership of everything you put into Scribedeck — your sermon notes, songs, slides, images, and recordings. You give us only the permission we need to store it, display it back to you and the people you present to, and process it to provide features you turn on (like exporting or translating). We don't claim your content and we don't use it to train AI models.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload — song lyrics in particular. Scribedeck does not provide copyrighted lyrics or licensed Bible translations, and it is not a substitute for a CCLI or equivalent license where one is required.
New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends at no cost. If you don't cancel, your card is charged when the trial ends and the subscription renews automatically — $9.99 per month or $100 per year, depending on the plan you pick.
You can cancel any time from Manage billing in your dashboard. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for. We can also give a church complimentary access at our discretion; complimentary access has no charge and no card on file.
Prices may change, but never for a period you've already paid for — we'll give notice before a change affects your renewal.
The free trial exists so you can decide before paying anything. If you're charged and something has clearly gone wrong — a duplicate charge, a renewal you tried to cancel, or a plan that never worked for you — write to support@scribedeck.app and we'll sort it out fairly.
Decks and dropped files are automatically deleted after 30 days. Download anything you need to keep long-term. Your song library, backgrounds, and brand settings persist until you remove them or close your account. We are not responsible for content lost after the retention period.
We work to keep Scribedeck running, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable — outages, maintenance, and problems at our providers happen. For anything mission-critical on a Sunday, we recommend exporting to ProPresenter or PowerPoint as a backup.
Scribedeck is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Renewed Vision. We export files their software can open. ProPresenter is their trademark.
You can stop using Scribedeck and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, doesn't pay, or is being used in a way that harms other users — where possible we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your content.
Scribedeck is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top of this page, and we'll notify account holders by email when the change is significant. Continuing to use Scribedeck after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
