Create ProPresenter 7 Slides from Sermon Notes — a Downloadable File Your Operator Just Imports

The Scribedeck team · August 8, 2026

If your church runs ProPresenter, your booth operator knows this routine: the pastor's notes arrive (late), and someone rebuilds them slide by slide inside ProPresenter — retyping, re-styling, pasting verse text. ProPresenter is a great presentation engine; it was never meant to be a typing pool.

Scribedeck feeds it instead of replacing it. You upload the sermon notes, and one click downloads a file ProPresenter 7 imports directly.

What's inside the download

Three background modes, because booths differ

When you download, you choose how the slides should arrive: exactly as shown in Scribedeck (style gradient or your custom background included), plain black, or fully transparent — text only, so your words drop straight onto whatever motion loop ProPresenter is already playing. Churches with a strong media library usually want transparent; churches without one want as-shown.

The weekly workflow

  1. Pastor (or anyone) uploads the notes to Scribedeck — Word doc, PDF, or photo.
  2. Confirm the lines, pick the style. Verses fill in automatically.
  3. Download the ProPresenter 7 file and hand it to the booth — or export PowerPoint for the campuses that use that instead.
  4. The operator imports the bundle as-is and spends their Saturday on anything else.

One practical note: import the downloaded .probundle file itself, without unzipping or renaming it — that's how ProPresenter finds the bundled media on the booth machine.

No ProPresenter? You may not need anything at all

Scribedeck Live presents the same deck full-screen from a browser tab — projector window on the second display, your phone as the remote, congregation following along by QR. Plenty of churches use Scribedeck alone; churches with ProPresenter use both. The download button doesn't care which kind you are.

Build this week's sermon and download the ProPresenter file — free to try, no account needed for the demo.
